Submitted By: Brandon Harland

Flow in CFS: 230
Recommended Craft: Recreational
Overview of this section: The first leg below Cambridge Pond is very straight with alot of sand in the channel. Below the straight section the river begins to meander and there are even a few small islands and 3 bridge crossings. Lots of trash in this stretch.
Hazard and Rapids: None
Camping?: None
Other Launches?: County Road just east of Cambridge
Places to rent or buy outdoor equipment: JAX/Ames Outdoor Gear, ISU Recreation Services
Other items of interest about this area: Nothing out of the ordinary.
Overall opinion of this section: Nice short float if you want to put in after work and get out before dark. Lots of trees along the river with only a few views of Ag fields.
