Rock Creek is kind of an anomaly for paddlers. One section of it has some of the delicate beauty of bluff-country streams farther east, such as the Volga or Upper Iowa. This is a creek, though, and to make it through the rocky riffles you’ll need a good rain first to avoid a lot of walking.
